Can I Bind an Attachment to a Specific Activity in Infor CRM version 7.54?

Question-

Recently I had a user ask if they could bind an attachment to a specific Activity within Infor CRM version 7.54??

First of all, in 7.54 CRM was called SalesLogix.

 

Answer-

Yes, you can. When you schedule an Activity there is an Attachments Tab within the Scheduling window that allows you to attach a file that would be specific to this Activity.

This also means that this file would not be available in the Attachments tab in the Accounts/Contacts. It is only available within that specific Activity.

This functionality has been changed since version 7.54 and NOW will attach the file to the Account and Contact too.
This can be good and bad in version 7.54. If you want to see the Attachment on the Contact or Account Level, it must be associated there and not within a specific Activity.
