Customer FX 3.0

Dave Tinjum on Customer FX 3.0 – Customer FX 1.0 was actually Business FX, born in the fall of 1993. In 2000 we started using the DBA Customer FX to reflect the change in our industry from Sales Automation to Customer Relationship Management, and 2.0 arrived. This blog will share the birth and evolution of Customer FX 3.0 and maybe even be an interesting read from time to time.

RightSignature – Moving to the Cloud – Part 9b

We finally decided on RightSignature.  It has the features and workflow we need at a reasonable price. RightSignature – When we started using: 2010. – What we were using: Paper and Email – Today: Loving it. – Future: Will be using for all documents requiring approvals. 2204355 – Spoof, Goof, or Start of a Viral Campaign for KFC?

Go to Google, type in 2204355 and hit “I’m Feeling Lucky” and you’ll go directly to a flash vid of a guy with a chicken drumstick in each hand dancing to some generic music with a pyschadelic background playing.  Kind of weird.  Good start if it’s part of a ad campaign, it’s being talked about all over the web.  I found it on Time.com a few minutes ago.  Anyone have an idea what it might...

SalesLogix Cloud vs. iPhone 4 – Hold the Mouse However You Want, No Rubber Band Needed

My apologies, this is not really about SalesLogix Cloud, but I couldn’t resist the headline. By now you’ve probably heard about the epic fail of the iPhone 4 that’s dominating the web today.  I just wanted to post the email from Jobs to a customer that touched off the firestorm.  This was followed up by an Apple spokesperson who suggested buying a rubber band Apple just happened to be selling, in order to fix the problem. ...

The 45 Minute Meeting Movement – We’re In

An idea worth trying from my Inbox today.  Below is a screenshot of an email announcing the start of a movement to reduce the “standard” meeting length from 1 hour to 45 minutes.  Customer FX will adopt this for our Monday morning team huddle.  I can hear the cheers...

Linkedin Users Can Now Follow Companies – Follow Customer FX

Rolled out last night, it seems Linkedin is playing catch up with Twitter and Facebook. Good move on their part, as the old company pages were basically static billboards with a feed from your blog.  What next for Linkedin?  How about more control of the company page and a way to interact with visitors.  That would be pretty cool. Check out the Customer FX Linkedin profile, and while you’re there, how about following us?...

Killing Trees Is Stoopid – Moving to the Cloud – Part 9a

E-Signatures.  Eliminating printing, signing and faxing/scanning contracts, sales orders, and all of the other docs we use that need approvals and signatures.  This is a solution we’ve been talking about for a few years, but somehow it was always pushed down the priority list. When thinking about how to remove friction from the customer experience in working with Customer FX, this process struck me as being a pain in the ass.  The same PITA process I go through when working with 99.9% of the vendors we do business with.  But a couple of weeks ago a vendor sent me a contract for renewal using RightSignature.  It was quick and easy.  I decided the time was now to make it easier to business with us, and stop killing trees at the same time.  So, we’re evaluating three top providers. The Contenders – EchoSign. Home Page at http://www.echosign.com/  – Blog http://blog.echosign.com/ – DocuSign. Home Page at http://www.docusign.com/  – Blog http://www.docusign.com/blog/ – RightSignature. Home Page at https://rightsignature.com/  – Blog http://blog.rightsignature.com/ I’ll let you know when we make our choice.  Any other apps we should consider?  Anyone have experience with one of the contenders?  Let me know. We’ve Made it Easier to Like Us on Facebook

Within a few hours after it was announced at the Facebook F8 conference yesterday, we went live with the new Universal Like feature.  You can find it at the bottom of every post on the Customer FX website.  Kudos to Ryan.  If you’re in the mood, stop by and give us some love...
