Question:How do I make sure my Base Directory is set correctly on Infor CRM ?
Recently I had a customer that had created a backup of their LIVE database and restore it for testing purposes.
When they restored the database and deployed, they did not check the base directory settings for the Slxclient in the IIS settings.
It was still pointing to the LIVE database server and deployed to the server.
All changes made to the database by users were then being captured to the test database.
When you restore any database, make sure that you check the base directory setting under IIS settings. Make sure you are pointing to the correct drive or server prior to deploying.
