What are the settings in SalesLogix that determine what fields a user can see or not??

Question:
One of our users is not able to see some of the fields in the Opportunities Detail View. What settings would make this happen??

Answer:

I would check the Security Profiles. You can see them in the SalesLogix Administrator. Go into Manage/Security Profiles.
If you look in the profile the user has as a default profile, the fields may be marked as NO ACCESS. OR, if the record is owned by a certain Team, you might want to check the security profile on that user, for that team.
