The Process Orchestration for SalesLogix 7.5 class will teach you how to leverage this powerful new addition to SalesLogix to create workflow, processes, and entity-level eventing that can be taken advantage of whether your SalesLogix implementation is web or LAN based.

This class will provide you with the knowledge to implement simple and complex workflow for SalesLogix, entity processes (similar to "Contact Processes" - but for any SalesLogix entity), and create entity-level events that you can use the implement system-wide business rules that will fire from any SalesLogix application, web or LAN, even external 3rd party applications.
Class Overview
This class will focus on several different types of workflow using SalesLogix Process Orchestration:
- Sequential Workflow (Event driven workflow). We will create several workflow tasks that trigger from field changes as well as creation, updates, or deleting records. These event-driven workflow tasks will work for any application that uses the SalesLogix OLEDB provider (LAN client, Web client, 3rd party apps, etc).
- Goal-Driven Workflow (Process workflow that involves user-interaction, like Contact Processes but for any entity). We will create some goal-driven workflow tasks that are similar to contact processes and how to tie the goal-driven workflow to the user interface in the SalesLogix 7.5 Web client using a tasklet.
- Using Visual Studio to create Process Orchestration task libraries that extend beyond what comes out of the box and understanding how to load these into SalesLogix.

Schedule Overview
This class is an online class. The class is broken into 2-3 hour sessions that are usually held 2-3 times a week until the class is finished. It is expected that participants will spend some of their own time practicing the topics covered in the class to build what was learned in the previous session. See the scheduled classes below or request your own private class.
Prerequisites
Participants should have some familiarity with SalesLogix. However, experience with SalesLogix Process Orchestration or Windows Workflow is not required. Participants should also have their own SalesLogix 7.5 environment to practice topics learned in the class on their own. Visual Studio 2008 is also a requirement (since this is needed to create workflow tasks using Windows Workflow Foundation). Programming experience is not necessary.
Pricing
To be determined.
