The SalesLogix .NET Extensions class jump starts your ability to customize and extend the SalesLogix v7 and higher LAN client using .NET and Visual Studio. You'll learn how to take advantage of all the power of the Microsoft .NET Framework and Visual Studio when developing for SalesLogix.

This class will provide you with the knowledge to start developing NET Extensions for SalesLogix now! You'll come away from the class with knowledge and tools to start customizing SalesLogix using Visual Studio for solutions where simple scripting just won't do.
Class Overview
This class will focus on the full spectrum of developing .NET Extensions, managing extensions and all the possibilities of what you can do with extensions. You'll even come away from the class with a library that you can use to simplify the development of .NET Extensions. You'll learn the following:
- Developing simple, self-contained extensions that are invoked from SalesLogix
- Developing object returning extensions to return COM-exposed objects to consume in SalesLogix scripts
- Developing user interface elements as .NET user controls that are embedded inside of SalesLogix
- Developing complete .NET Forms that are invoked in SalesLogix
- Managing .NET Extensions for SalesLogix
- Debugging and troubleshooting .NET Extensions
Online training forum available to class participants for access to the instructor for assistance in building your solution during this two week class and the week following.
Schedule Overview
This class is an online class. The class is broken into 2-3 hour sessions that are usually held 2-3 times a week until the class is finished. It is expected that participants will spend some of their own time practicing the topics covered in the class to build what was learned in the previous session. Prerequisites
Participants should have some familiarity with SalesLogix. Previous .NET programming or similar programming experience is helpful (at least minimal as long as you have some level of programming experience). Access to Visual Studio 2005 or higher (free Express editions are acceptable).
