The SalesLogix User Lookup Control: Defining which users are shown

The SalesLogix User Lookup control is a custom Lookup control used to search the available SalesLogix users in the System. There is an important property attribute that should be considered when adding the control to a quick form.  The attribute is called “Show Non Logged in Users”.  By default this attribute is set to False.  With this default attribute the system prevents some users from displaying in the lookup results.  Changing this attribute to True allows for these users to show. Here is a side by side example of the control with the different properties.  The left image shows the “Show Non Logged in Users” set to False while the right shows the same control with the setting set to True.

SalesLogix User Lookup

I do not like the way SalesLogix classifies the user lookup by license type.  What SalesLogix user cares (or even knows) what the different license types are in the system?  It would be far better to simply have a standard lookup interface with a search on name available.Unfortunately this is the standard control behavior.
