I am senior developer for Customer FX Corporation who has an interest on report writing.   I would say easily 95% of my posts are on this subject and in the majority of those posts I use Business Objects Crystal Reports XI Release 2.  The reason for this is for each SalesLogix system that is sold, the purchasing business receives one license of this product.  My goal in all of these report related posts is to provide a new SalesLogix Administrator a resource of ideas for reporting in SalesLogix.  For this reason my source data is a standard Sage SalesLogix SQL database which helps ensure the examples I use in my posts will most likely be effective when applied to the readers SalesLogix system.  I write to a new user level and try to include screen shots so that a reader can easily follow along and hopefully learn something while they go through the post.  For other systems and other database types it is my sincere hope that this blog helps you be a better report writer but I cannot guarantee that the examples I provide will work for you without some modification.  I am available for one on one help so please feel free to contact me at george.jensen@customerfx.com.  In future posts I will refer back to this writing so a new reader will have this information and I do not have to type it every now and then to establish .
