Did you know that SageCRM allows two types of integration for Outlook calendar syncing as a standard feature?

Exchange integration and Outlook integration are two separate features in Sage CRM. Exchange integration is an add-on feature that can be requested by a Sage CRM customer, while Outlook integration is a standard Sage CRM feature.
Exchange integration uses a server-to-server architecture to synchronize appointments. Exchange integration is transparent to the user, and operates continuously. Outlook integration uses a client-to-server architecture to synchronize appointments and tasks, and requires a plugin on the client side. Outlook integration is operated either on a manual or a timed basis.
The advantages of Exchange integration include:
-
Continuous operation, therefore the user does not have to be logged in for
synchronization to take place.
-
No additional setup required by the user.
-
It can be enabled for individual users.
If you have both Exchange integration and Outlook integration installed at the
same time, Exchange will synchronize the appointments and Outlook will
synchronize only tasks and contacts.
