Attachment Error When Using SendSLX in SalesLogix v7.5

Question: We've just gone live with our SalesLogix v7.5 upgrade and we are encountering an error with SendSLX.  The SendSLX feature worked properly in the test system - attachment showed up in history if I chose to attach.  Now, if a user chooses to SendSLX or Record To History, the plugin is throwing an error saying it was unable to save an attachment (the .eml file itself or any other attachment that might be with the email) and that it is an invalid path.  The body of the email does show in history.

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Answer: There are many places where the failure could occur, so isolating the issue is key.  Do you know where is it failing? Are you getting an App error, or Server error?  Connecting an HTTP Sniffer (such as Fiddler) can help you to determine if you are getting an HTTP failure, an IIS failure or an SLX Failure.  There could also be network issues that prevent the files from being uploaded.  Or, there may be File Size Limitation settings on SLX, ASP.NET and IIS that need to be reconfigured.  There are also timeout settings to consider.  Working through these different possibilities should help you resolve your error.
