Moving SalesLogix Database from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008

Question: I have a customized SalesLogix database installed on SQL 2005 and I would like to move it to SQL 2008.  What steps should I take?

Answer: You can do a Backup and Restore of the database and you can also use the "Copy Database" wizard on the SQL Management Studio 2008 to move your database and all the required objects to the new server.  Some things to think about if you do a Backup and Restore are that you will have to detach the database before proceeding.  You should also make sure that your sysdba login and schema exist on the new sever, then re-map on the new database.
