When the sales reps are dealing with a customer it was important to be able to see quickly, and in one location the status of a customer. In order to instantly be able to tell the status of a customer, the SalesLogix Account and Contact screens were modified to give quick visibility if a customer is on credit hold. This same area also displays the customer’s support history, showing a brief summary of the ticket activity for the customer. All of this information is presented real time when the Account record is opened. The Credit Hold flag is being read live from the back office MAS 500 system for the customer.
With this modification the sales reps do not have to look through various tabs at the Account in order to see critical information
The Account screen shows the credit status as well as a summary of any support activity that has occurred for the Account. This same information shows on all of the Account’s Contact screens as well.
