The Quote Products tab is the management interface to identify the products being quoted.  The Product grid utilizes a standard SalesLogix data grid to display the product but also includes the following enhancements.

The quotes product grid includes several features for ease of use, including:

•    Ability to group products including the ability to copy and paste products between groups
•    Move product order within groups and move group order within quote
•    Export quote product list to Excel
•    Select multiple products and add discounts to them with one click.
•    Export the products from the Quote to an Opportunity linked to the Quote.
•    Load products from the associated Opportunity onto the Quote.
•    Export the Quote’s products to Excel.
•    Manually re-load pricing to check for updated MAS 500 pricing, real time.
•    Display Kit components of a line item in a separate grid.

Quote product tab displays standard and BTO Kit products.

Additionally, the Product tab was designed to allow interaction with the back office concept of BTO Kits.  BTO Kits display in the product grid with a kit icon in the left most column.  When a user selects the BTO Kit product, the components grid opens to the right of the product grid.
