Displaying Assets on the SalesLogix 7.5.x Web Client

We found an installation with both the SalesLogix LAN client and the web client that displayed the account assets tab differently. In the LAN client all assets displayed and on the Web Client only assets with a contact displayed. If there is a primary contact assigned to the account then the asset will automatically default to that contact and display on the web client. If you choose to add a contact when adding the asset that asset will display on the web. If there are no contacts on the account then assets will not display. Some SalesLogix installations may not want to have a contact assigned to each account but still want to see new assets on the web. I would recommend removing the contact column from the Account Asset form in the Application Architect.
