If you’re using Marketing Creatio to send bulk emails, there are a lot of things you can do to use the results of marketing campaigns and emails to fine tune future marketing audiences. One possible use is to create a list of contacts that clicked a specific link in a bulk email. In order to determine if a contact clicked a specific link, we’ll use the object named “Click through links with email“. This object provides a 1 to many list of links that a particular contact has clicked.
When you add a link into a Creatio bulk email, Creatio parses this out and adds it to a table of links you’ve used. It includes the link text and URL. You can search for these links by URL or by the text of the link in the email. For example, if you included a link in a bulk email that had the text “5 Reasons Creatio Isn’t Your Average CRM”, the filter would look like this:
The filter includes all contacts that have at least one entry where the contact clicked a specific link titled “5 Reasons Creatio Isn’t Your Average CRM”. Note, that if you’ve included this same link in multiple bulk emails, the link will exist more than one time – meaning you’ll see multiple instances of this link in the list of choices. The one you pick is an instance of this link in one specific bulk email. If you wanted this link from *any* bulk email you’ve included it in, you could select all instances of it. However, this would exclude any future bulk emails you include this exact same link in unless you edit this filter to include more. However, you could change this condition to include any link with the specific text title, not just instances of the link with that title. To do this expand Link to include the Text and enter the text of the link you’re after.
Note, you can also include a condition for a link in one specific bulk email as well by expanding Link to select the Bulk Email it was from.
