Sometimes the little joys in life make all the difference when you are slogging through Infor CRM development.
One such little joy for me is when things finally come easy. For instance, what I am talking about today is how to resize the Notes field on the Activity dialog in the Infor CRM web client.
Normally the screen looks something like this:
In order to resize the Notes field, sure you could go down the rabbit hole of building a widget that extends the base ActivityEditor widget. However, this sounds about as much fun as getting kicked by a donkey, or maybe just a kangaroo.
How about something easy for a change? Well this is it!
All you need to do is add some custom css. Using Ryan’s awesome custom loader you dont need to do anything but add a css file to the right folder. Presto, bingo the magic happens!
Now for the style definition:
.activity-dialog .notes-text {
min-height: 200px !important;
}
With that in place, our screen now looks like this sweet sweet dialog:
