How Can I Set a New Password in the SalesLogix v7.5.1 Customer Portal?

Question: I need to be able to read and set user passwords in the SalesLogix v7.5.1 Customer Portal and I don’t have the seed so I am unable to do this.  How can I find the seed so that I am able to read and set user passwords?

Answer: If the primary thing that you need to do is set a password:

contact.SaveWebAccess(true, ‘password’, ‘password’);

You just need the IContact.

Also, do you have a copy of the tool Reflector?  Reflector will show you how the Sage developers implemented many parts of SalesLogix, including the exact key you are looking for, and is a fantastic tool.
