The Infor Xtreme Portal is getting a new name, and I think it’s about time. There is nothing “extreme” about it, so the name never made sense. It’s a support portal, where end users and Business Partners go to report issues, search the knowledge base, and access the latest software updates. The name will now be straight to the point – Infor Support Portal. Below is the full release:
To help simplify and make things more user friendly, we’re changing the name of the Infor Xtreme Portal to the Infor Support Portal. You’ll see these changes appear over the next several months as we update impacted areas. The URL to access the support portal will not change at this time, and will remain: www.inforxtreme.com, as we know many customers have this URL bookmarked. Longer term, we expect to make Infor Concierge the starting point for all things Infor. We will keep you updated as we progress on this initiative. If you log a Customer Care incident, the product line name will change from “Infor Xtreme Support” to “Infor Support Portal – Customer Care,” this information defaults when you select the Incident > Add Customer Care Inquiry menu option. No action is required, we just wanted you to be aware.
