SalesLogix Opportunity Default Settings

I feel as if I have tackled this issue in the past.

I had a call from an Administrator today in regards to the Opportunity Default Settings.

These settings are located on the LAN Cleint under the Tools/Manage/Opportunity Detaults.

The administrator believed that setting these defaults was done once for all users, while logged in as the Administrtor.

The fact is……The Opportunity Default settings are per user. Each user must log in and setting their own individual settings.

This cannot be done logged in as Administrator or from the SalesLogix Administrator program. It must be done logged into the SalesLogix LAN Client as the user that you want to set the defaults.

I hope this clears up and confusion there may have been.
