Multiple Email Addresses in an Infor CRM Notification? Be Prepared for This Change

Infor released an announcement regarding multiple emails addresses in a notification.  While I don’t think this is going to apply to many, if any, of our Infor CRM customers, here it is just in case:

Summary

The third-party outbound service provider Infor uses to deliver email has updated their service to allow only one “To” header with all destination addresses in one line and will reject email with multiple “To” headers. Thus, some customers may not be receiving email due to this new service update.

Upon review, less than 1% of our daily processed email is impacted by this change.

We are working with the vendor to roll back this change until we can apply the long-term fix to Infor products to consume this service update. We will provide another update once we have confirmed rollback with the vendor.

Action Steps

If you think you are impacted by this issue and are not receiving emails, as a workaround you can temporarily replace multiple email addresses with one email address (or one email address that is a distribution list).

We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time. If you have any questions, please contact Infor Support via https://concierge.infor.com.
