Infor CRM 8.5.0.1 – Application Architect Datalink Connections – What to Know

The Name of the Datalink Connection for Application Architect must match the connection name as defined in Connection Manager.

Why does this need to match?

  • Application Architect is now 64-bit and does not use the SLX Provider for database connections.
  • The deploy process in AA, still needs to create a SLX Provider connection for the portals.
  • AA needs to know the connection name as defined on the server in Connection Manager to build up that provider connection.
