Infor CRM Sync for Exchange 1.01 has been released

Infor has just released a new version of Sync For Exchange and it can be downloaded from the xtreme portal.  This new version brings compatibility with Infor CRM 8.3.09 and 8.4.

With Sync for Exchange, Infor CRM is directly connected to Microsoft Exchange server either hosted (Office 365) or on-premise version 2010 or above.

I can be configured to perform either a one-way or two-way sync of users calendar activities, tasks and contacts.  This is a set it and forget it function and requires no user interaction.

It also creates history records in CRM for emails both sent and received.  This is done by creating a folder called Send to CRM on Exchange which is then available to any of the users email clients that support Exchange server including Mobile versions of Outlook.  The user simply drags or copies an email into the Send to CRM folder from any other folder and Sync for Exchange creates the CRM history record automatically.

*TIP – You can set up rules in Exchange that automatically copy your emails to the Send to CRM folder so the user does not have to do anything for this to create the CRM history records.
