Infor has released the LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration software which is available for immediate download on the Infor Xtreme portal.
There are 2 versions of the installation bundle, one for 8.3.07 and later and one for 8.3.01 to 8.3.06. Both the Infor CRM Cloud and On-premise installations are supported. Earlier versions of Infor CRM are not supported and this is for the web client only, no LAN clients. Pricing for Sales Navigator starts at $79.99 per month for an individual user and there is a 30 day free trial available.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator for the Infor CRM Web Client provides an integration between Infor CRM and LinkedIn, the social networking website for business professionals.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator taps into the power of LinkedIn’s 450M+ member network to help Sales professionals find and build relationships with prospects and customers through social selling.
When LinkedIn Sales Navigator is installed and configured, Infor CRM users who have a LinkedIn membership and have subscribed to the LinkedIn Sales Navigator feature are able to see a widget of Sales Navigator in a tab on the Infor CRM Account, Contact, and Lead Detail views.
- In the Infor CRM Account Detail view, the Widget locates and displays other recommended leads, connections and
news for the selected account available through your LinkedIn network. - On the Contact and Lead detail views, the LinkedIn Sales Navigator tab displays the Icebreaker, Related Leads,
and Get Introduced information.
The installation consisted of creating a developer account with LinkedIn, installing the correct bundles, and configuring the integration in the web client. The bummer is that LinkedIn takes 2-3 weeks to provision your account.
