Marketing Campaigns – Adding Targets in Infor CRM 8.3

I have recently discovered an issue with adding Targets to a Campaign in Infor CRM 8.3 using Chrome as my browser.

When you try to add Targets, you see the spinning icon as if it is trying to add the Targets. However, it just continues to spin and never stops. If you close the “Lookup Targets” window you will see that it actually DID add the targets.

If you press f12 and look at the Dev Tools while trying to add the Targets, you will see the following:

Chrome has an issue with one the Telerik controls.

You can use a different browser to add your Targets and this will not happen. You can also ignore the spinner and just close the window, it will actually add the Targets to your Campaign.

Infor has submitted this issue as a defect to be fixed in a future release.

KB 2240997 – DEFECT: Adding targets to campaign throws JavaScript error

Use a different browser when adding targets to a campaign, not Chrome.

However, as discussed, you can just close the window and the Targets DO actually get added.
