SalesLogix 7.5.1 Web Reporting Tech Tip

Web reporting was configured, deployed, and working on a 7.5.1 SalesLogix web server but after installing a customization bundle the Web Reports icon returned the following error:


“Web Reporting has not been configured. Please contact your SalesLogix Administrator.”

After some troubleshooting we discovered the Web Dependencies entry for the SLXClient portal was corrupted.  It visually looked okay, and reentering the URL via the Edit option, just to make sure, had no effect. To finally get it working, the current entry had to be removed via the Delete button, the configuration Saved, the SlxClient portal deployed, a new “Web Dependencies” entry added, the configuration saved, and the SlxClient portal deployed.

  1. The entries are under the web dependencies button on the deployment of the slx client. Please see the attached file.
