I had a chance to play around with the new Creatio Atlas code editor which we will call the “place to make customizations to new screens” in Creatio since I’m not a developer. This is the primary new feature in the 8.0 release. Basically, you select a screen layout first such as 1 column, 2 columns, and many other templates and then you drag elements from the left onto the screen on the right and it sets them nicely in place for you. As you can see, there are fields, charts, buttons, and other element types to build your new application with. Gone are the restrictions that the previous version of Creatio made your screen layout conform to. You can also use this new interface to build the list view and dashboard home screen for your new application. I do agree that this is a “Freedom” release since you are not confined to making customizations within the set framework and screen spaces like in the previous version. You have a blank canvas and the system does all of the heavy lifting of making it all work together without writing code (but you still can if needed).
