Infor CRM 8.3.05 brings Significant Performance Improvements

I’ve spent some time playing around with update 05 for Infor CRM 8.3 because of the claims of better UI performance.  I’m happy to report that I am a believer and have noticed much faster response times with general navigation and in specific areas like groups and Xbar.

Here are some of the areas of performance improvement;

  • Xbar and Mobile no longer need to authenticate itself before each run. In previous versions, these applications needed to authenticate for each data request causing delays and many information logs on the server.
  • Export functionality has been improved to reduce the time it takes to export records.
  • The Job Server now supports clustering. This will allow you to run multiple Job Server “nodes” on the same server, and/or distributed across multiple servers.
  • Web client UI overall performance has improved.
