Intellisync on the SalesLogix 7.5.2 Web Client Using Citrix

I recently installed the Intellisync Application in a Citrix environment for a new client. From past experiences I thought this would be a nightmare but the new Intellisync client installed very smoothly once we had the prerequisites completed successfully. My first step was to verify the Intellisync portal was deployed correctly by opening the Intellisync portal in the Application Architect. After the portal opened I copied the connection url to the clipboard.
Our next step was to ask the Citrix Admin to run the Intellisync Installation, publish the Intellisync for SalesLogix application, and share to the appropriate users. Once that step was completed we logged into the Citrix desktop as a remote user, logged in using the SalesLogix username and password as well as the connection url we saved earlier, http://CompanyWebServer:3333/SlxIntellisync/Default.aspx, for example. At this point we configured sync settings for this user and tested syncing between SalesLogix and Outlook.
Now that we had one user set up our real test was checking to see if multiple roaming accounts could login and use their correct settings. We repeated the same steps logged into the Citrix desktop as user2, tested, and successfully synced records between Outlook and SalesLogix. In conclusion, we were delighted with how quickly and easily the Intellisync installation went.
