Here is a seldom used application that provides a super easy way to monitor the SalesLogix Sync service. It can be installed on any network SalesLogix workstation and set up in no time. This is a great tool for someone who is fielding calls from outside sales reps asking if the sync server is running.
Copy the slxmonitor.exe from the program filessaleslogix folder from the administrative workstation to any computer that wants to run the monitor. Then register the synchronization service using the settings from the Sync Automation Services tab in the SalesLogix Administrator. When the service displays with a green arrow it’s ready and the current status, pending jobs, and sync history listings appear.
