TaskCentre 4.7 Has Been Released

New tools and enhancements are ready for you to use.

If you are using TaskCentre, a Business Process Management suite that integrates with Infor CRM, you’re going to want to check out the  update that was just released.  In TaskeCentre v4.7 you will find the following new tools and enhancements:

Call TaskTool
This new tool initiates the run of a selected second task, either locally or on a remote server (if the correct authentication credentials are supplied during configuration) See the whitepaper.

Transform Data Tool
This tool is designed to facilitate the amendment of XML content from one structure to another designed by the user, or to transform data value as runtime where a consuming step might expect them in a different format to their original state. See the whitepaper.

Scheduler Tool
We have introduced a Scheduler service in version 4.7. This is supported when using the TaskCentre SQL server store.

Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Support
Microsoft Windows Server 2016 is supported in this release for server and/or clients installations of TaskCentre, including the Datacenter, Standard and Essentials editions.

Micrososft Windows 10 Support
Microsoft Windows 10 is supported in this release for client installations. This covers the Professional and Enterprise editions.

Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Support
Microsoft SQL Server 2016 is supported in this release. The following editions are covered: Enterprise, Standard, Developer, Web, Express, Evaluation.

Microsoft Office 2016
Support for Microsoft Office 2016 is included in this release.

      This announcement is from February 2017, and I believe SQL Server 2017 wasn’t released until the fall of 2017 so it couldn’t have been supported at the time.
