Does the SalesLogix Mobile Client Automatically Create a History Event When You Send an Email?

Question:

When I send an email out of SalesLogix Mobile Client will it automatically create a History event with the body of the email in the notes section?

Answer:

When you click on an email address in the SalesLogix Mobile Client, it will open the resident email client and pre-populate the email address. You can then type in the Subject and the body of the email. At the same time , it opens a SalesLogix history dialog box in the background. However, if you wish to save the body of your email into the notes of the History event, you must copy the email body into your clipboard. Once you send the email, you can complete the History dialog box and paste your clipboard into the notes section. Once you save this, it will be saved into the Notes/History for that contact record.
