In Infor CRM (Saleslogix), you will often populate field by selecting a value from a dropdown menu. The list of items on the dropdown that you pick a value from in know as a picklist. It is actually fairly easy to edit the list of items that make up a picklist, but you need to do it the right way. There is a way to edit picklists from withing the web client, but changes made that way will only apply to the user who makes them. All other users will still see the original picklist.
In order to make global changes to a picklist that apply to all users, you must use the Architect program. Open Architect, and log in as Admin. (If you log in another user, the changes will only apply to that user.) Once you are in, go to the Manage menu and select Pick Lists. Using the Pick List Manager that opens, select the desired tab, and select the picklist you wish to edit. Once you have selected the picklist, use the check boxes to set some common options like sort order, or select Edit to add, remove, or change items on the list.
