Question: I need to enforce field level security on some fields within a
large table I have in SalesLogix v7.0. Where I am running into an
issue that the checkbox to enable field level security is greyed out and
I can’t figure out how it can be fixed. Can I enable this field?
Answer: You can’t enable this because there is meta-data in blobs that
is encoded and needs to be generated. You will need to create a new
table with field level security enables, and then transfer your new data
to the new table.
