How can you customize the default condition for the quick find?

Question:

SalesLogix version 7.52

Is there a way to customize the default search of the quick find into a “contains” or  “ends-with” instead of the default “equal to”? Like for example the quick find for the ticket… it is always running the equal to search when you hit the lookup button.

 

Answer:

This is a new feature in SalesLogix version 8, your are able to set you default condition for lookups.
