Quick Review of SalesLogix Mobile vs. Salesforce Mobile

Wow, this is all they could come up with?  A few brief observations.

Sf.com Advantages –


Sf.com Disadvantages –

Limited to recently searched and used records, others have to be searched and pulled down wirelessly (a bit slow)

View Only Info – No ability to modify the record at all outside of activities and notes

All Entities are limited and view only:

  • Account – Limited to Acct Owner, Parent Account, Phone and Address (doesn’t even list contacts or opps)

  • Contact – Limited to Account Owner, Account, Phone, Email and Address (also doesn’t show associated opps, tickets etc.)

  • Lead – Limited to Account Owner, Account, Phone, Email and Address

  • Opportunity – Account, Opp Name, Forecast category, Close date, Pipeline State, Probability, Amount and Leadsource
