We have SLX LAN v7.2.1.
We are running into an issue where we have some accounts that do not have a contact with an email. Some of our accounts only have a general email (i.e. sales@mycompany.com), the problem is that the mail merge tool in SalesLogix will only send to contacts.
Is there a way around this. Where we can still use the mail merge tool for account emails.
Answer:
1. You need to have a contact, The name can be anything you want it to be.
2. This Contact’s Email can be anything you want it to be, including the Account’s general email address.
3. In Mail Merge, the only field used is the Contact’s Email.
