Bulk Update and Bulk Delete capability has been added for Account, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities.  This feature enables users to update the value of key fields against a group of records or a set of selected records in the web client.  Also added is the ability to Delete a set of selected records or a group of records.

  1. Hi,
I see your article on New Bulk Actions for Infor CRM 8.2. I do not have the check boxes at the left of the accounts. Is there some security that I need to enable to see these check boxes?

    Thanks, Stacy

  2. That is a setting in your interface. If you log into the web client and then select Tools from the top menu and then Options and then the General tab, you will see a checkbox to Display List View Checkboxes.

    • Hi,

What security/permissions need to be added to a user in order for them to access the Update action (bulk update) feature in Infor CRM? I have the update option when logged in as Administrator but not as another user even with the Administrator role added.

      Thanks,
      Bryan

    • Bryan,
You need to make sure the Standard User Role or which ever role you are using has the Bulk Update Action.
There are different Bulk Update Actions, depending on the Entity you want to update.
For Accounts, the Action is Entities/Account/BulkUpdate
For Contacts, the Action is Entities/Contact/BulkUpdate.
Open Roles as Administrator and link an additional action, or make sure that role has the appropiate actions already linked.
      Thanks
