Is it Possible to Change the Code That Updates the LastHistoryDate and LastHistoryby Fields in SalesLogix v7.5.3?

Question:

I’m using SalesLogix v7.5.3 LAN and I can’t see any code updating the LastHistoryDate and LastHistoryBy on Account/Contact/Opportunity screens.  It’s being updated after adding a History.  I would like to disable or change it – Is this possible?

Answer:

This behavior is compiled into SalesLogix.exe and is not customizable.
