‘Open Site’ Grayed-Out When Trying to Deploy the SalesLogix v7.5 Disconnected Web Client

Question: I am setting up the SalesLogix disconnected Web client and have followed the Implementation Guide.  My remote database is connected and syncing.  When I right-click the Personal Web Server Icon in the tray ‘Open Site’ is grayed-out.  Why is this happening?

Answer: The reason that ‘Open Site’ is grayed-out is because there are no sites registered with the personal server.  You need to go to the deployment explorer, specify the remote portals, and choose the user you want to sync a portal to. Now do a deployment of the remote user portal. Cycle the sync server and start the sync client on your remote machine.
