How Can I Bundle the Removal of All Instances of ‘Defects’ in SalesLogix v7.5?

Question:  I’m interested in removing all instances of ‘Defects’ in SalesLogix v7.5.  Within my test environment it is simple for me to delete the navigation items – I don’t want to lose the entities and pages, just the links.  Is it possible to bundle this removal?

Answer: It is possible to bundle the removal.  What you want to do is drag items for deletion from the recycle bin, found on the view menu, to the manifest.  You can see an example of this if you remove some items and then create a manifest from a date/time prior to the deletion (you’ll see the deletions in the manifest).
