Using the Hosts File With InforCRM SpeedSearch

There will be times when the SpeedSearch Server is on an application server in the company domain and the web host is out in the DMZ and the SpeedSearch directory is not available to the web clients.  In this case, you should add the IP address of the application server to the hosts file on the web server so it allows traffic to flow from the appserver to the webhost.  This will allow users in the web client to successfully connect and user Speedsearch.
