What are .SLP files and how are they used with SalesLogix?

Question:

Trying to get a better understanding of the .SLP files and what they are used for. Can anyone give me some information on what they are used for and generally what role they play within SalesLogix?

Answer:

.SLP files are local copies of your plugin.
I believe it was an attempt at supporting usage over the WAN, but they never really announced it because it did not help that much.

They are safe to delete, but they will keep coming back.
