Sage SalesLogix 7.5.3 Desktop Manager Tips

The Sage Desktop Manager application that runs in your taskbar can be restarted from your Start, Programs, Startup, SalesLogix Desktop Manager. This location, while not obvious, does allow those users without the SalesLogix LAN client install to start the app from the All Programs option.
If you have had errors when attempting to run the SendSLX button the system will cache those errors in the following location (Windows XP), C:Documents and SettingsyourusernameApplication DataSageOutputCache. Now if the Desktop Manager attempts to send these cached records everytime it opens you may not get to send your present record. In that case go into the Cache and delete these cached records so you can start fresh. Revisit the records with errors to make sure the email addresses were correct. I hope this makes using the Desktop Manager a little easier!
