Button to Install Infor CRM (Saleslogix) XBar/Outlook Integration Not Working?

Check the file path.

The button that users need to access to install the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) Xbar/Outlook Integration is located in Tools/Options.  However, if the install file is not in the correct path, this button will not work.  Where should you check?

The install file should be in the following Path:

\inetpub\wwwroot\slxclient\libraries\Desktopintegration\

  1. All references to installing lan client but especially outlook connector and / or x-bar in a terminal server environment seem to have disappeared? Is there guide in particular or outlook/xbar for this?

  2. Where do you find OfficeIntegrationsetup.exe to put in the location path you mentioned above?

    *Web Client is version 8.3 with Update 10.*

    • We recently updated to the same version and have the problem as well. In fact if you check \ICRM v8.3.0 VFS Web Core Update 10.zip\Portal\SlxClient\SupportFiles\Libraries it’s simply not there. Perhaps it wasn’t updated in update 10, however, it was in our installed folder before the update.

  3. Find that file in your install files or look on the xtreme website in the download files. Once you find the file, put it in the correct path and the button will work.
