Changes to Custom SmartPart Not Showing up in SalesLogix v7.2 Web

Question: For SalesLogix v7.2 Web I am editing a custom SmartPart in the
Application Architect.  I am taking out 2 date/time pickers and am
replacing these with picklists.  What I have done is updated the .ascx
file under Portal Manager/Sage SalesLogix/SupportFiles/SmartParts,
did a Build Interface and Build Web Platform, and then re-deployed.  I
didn’t experience any issues when doing this, but the changes are not
showing up in the SalesLogix Web client.  Did I miss something?

Answer: First, take a look at your deployed file to see if the changes are
showing up.  The deployed file is the file that is pushed out to the IIS
server.  On the IIS server in the deployment location you will see the
.ascx file, something like: C:inetpubwwwrootSlxClient

SupportFilesSmartPartsAccounted.ascx.
 
Next, try deleting the deployed file which will force it to be deployed again.
